Grateful Fred's Music Tours

After years performing music, (now well over 50 years), both professionally and semi-professionally, I set up “Grateful Fred’s Americana, Acoustic and Roots Nights” almost ten years ago to bring leading US acoustic, bluegrass, singer-songwriter and independent artists to the Merseyside area. Since then we have added the “Grateful Fred House Concert Series”.
To date, we have promoted and produced over 175 shows featuring some of the leading Americana artists currently touring. Over those years we have also accommodated, at our home, many of the artists who have performed at Grateful Fred’s, many of whom have suggested that we should create some music tours of the leading US music cities and legendary music locations. As my long-suffering wife, Barbara, and I have also been travel agents for over 40 years, it seemed the logical thing to do and so we are now offering a series of escorted music tours working with specialist music travel operator Travelling Time who will be operating the tours. Travelling Time offer 100% financial protection being ATOL licence holders and members of the Travel Trust Association. Our first tour, escorted by me, is "Grateful Fred's Grand Americana" which will depart from London Heathrow on the 18th of April, 2020. It's a really exciting tour taking in Memphis, Nashville, Muscle Shoals, Montgomery and New Orleans. You can read all about it here. If you are in America you can join us on day one in Memphis and if you are based in Europe you can either meet us and fly from Heathrow or make your own flight arrangements and meet us in Memphis on day one.
